Star of St James is a 7yo Gelding by Equiano. He is a really fun, sound, horse who still has plenty of enthusiasm and ability.
He has really appreciated the return to the turf in May, with solid recent perfomances at Chepstow and Beverley, coming second on both occasions over a mile.
He should be a consistent soldier through the summer with a possibility of improvement once he steps up to 1m 2f.
He’s well handicapped and I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t put his head in front very soon. He is ready to run now and I’m happy to retain a share in him.
