Team Furtado would just like to say congratulations and a huge well done to our yard apprentice Elle-May Croot for winning the Go Racing In Yorkshire Future Stars Apprentice Handicap Series!
The final race was today at Newcastle, aboard Magical Max, who ran a great race to finish second. The duo went well out in front, and looked in command entering the final furlong, only to be picked off late, just getting caught in the final strides.
With the final few points Elle May and Max collected today, that sent her straight into the lead in the championship series! A terrific achievement, and a nice boost for our hard-working claimer, so well done to Elle-May and all connections.
