Winner and 2nd at Southwell!
May Remain made all to win the 6f race at Southwell yesterday afternoon. He ran well last week when just caught in the closing stages in a tight finish but that wasn’t happening today!! He stayed on strongly to bring home the win for Team Furtado and apprentice Elle-May Croot.
It’s great to see him still loving his job at the age of 9! “Age is just a number”
It was almost a double on the day when, in the next race, Lawmans Blis was just headed inside the final furlong and had to settle for second place. In his first run for the yard, he relished the return to the flat after three attempts over hurdles, and we will hopefully return him to winning ways very soon.
